The Afusari or Afizere are an ethnic group of Nigeria. They are also known by several other names, including Afizarek, Afusare, Fezere, Fezerek, Fizere, Izere, Jarawa, Jarawan Dutse, and Jari. Harold Gunn (1953) traces the root of the Afizere people from a region in southern Kaduna, Kaduna state, Nigeria, called Chawai.
