One of the better-known companies in the latter category is Salt Lagos. It bakes and sells a broad set of cake, dessert, and pastry types. They’re all showcased on its website, an easy-to-navigate series of mild pink and white pages. At every turn, visitors are greeted with aesthetically appealing images of baked edibles and have their appetite whetted by the sheer volume of delights there. From intricately decorated chocolate cakes to special loaves and cookies, there’s something for lovers of sugared delights. Salt Lagos was founded in 2014 by Modupe Emmanuel. She’s a skilled baker and has formal training in cuisine and pastry from the Le Cordon Bleau, Paris. Although she initially studied to become a lawyer, she left the legal profession after practising for four years to pursue a culinary career.

Some of the cakes sold by Salt Lagos include the berry vanilla cake, carrot cake (sometimes baked with cheesecake), chocolate cake and cookie dough, red velvet cake, and the strawberry cheesecake, among others. There are more than two dozen different types of cakes on offer from them. Apple pies, beef sausage rolls, cinnamon rolls, chicken sausage rolls, sconces, and brownie bars can all be purchased as well. There are at least twenty different treats on sale at Salt Lagos, besides the regular cakes and cupcakes. If you love your sweet food in sizeable forms, you may have a look at the loaves from Salt Lagos. Their menu includes banana bread, lemon loaf, buttermilk loaf, and carrot loaf. But if you’re just interested in small, crunchy edibles, their peanut butter and chocolate cookies may be your preferred option. These products can be ordered on the Salt Lagos website.
