Paris Bakery is one outlet that identifies with this category. It’s located in Ibadan and is one of the better-known bakeries in the city. Although its menu largely consists of flour confectioneries (especially cakes), it serves several cooked dishes as well. The bakery was founded in 2016. In the five years that have followed, it has impressed a segment of Ibadan’s residents with the quality of its consumables. Customer reviews have generally been positive. At the moment, it’s present in a single location managed by Mohammed Ali, a Lebanese Nigerian. Paris Bakery makes a variety of edibles—mainly French, Asian, and Mediterranean cuisines. They range from large cakes and cupcakes to whole wheat bread, desserts, burgers, ice cream, pizzas, sandwiches, shawarma, and snacks. Other items on their menu include spring rolls, Spanish omelette, hot dog, and meat pies. Besides these, the bakery also cooks and serves rice, beef and chicken, Spanish spaghetti, chicken and chips, salad, akara, and moi moi. These may either be served to diners within the bakery’s premises or packaged as takeaways for customers who would rather eat elsewhere.

Persons who decide to eat on-premise may enjoy the ambience at Paris Bakery. Reviews suggest that its environment is conducive for this purpose and that the customer service is decent. Diners are often there in groups consisting of friends and family. Paris Bakery also bakes and delivers special order cakes for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, graduation ceremonies, and bridal showers. These are prepared according to customer specifications and dispatched to the addresses they have provided. The bakery is open all through the week, including on weekends, from 9 AM to 9 PM. Inquiries and orders may be attended to within this time frame. It does appear that Paris Bakery is content with operating out of its current location for the time being. It’s become one of the go-to places for great meals and relaxation in Ibadan, and its team seems set on making it even more popular. There’s always a chance that it’ll expand, and transition into a country-wide leader in the production and delivery of confectioneries.
