RepairAm is the first online gadget repair service in Nigeria. The service allows you to book a repair for gadgets like laptops, tablets, phones, and desktop computers, online. The RepairAm team can pick up the gadget for repair, or fix it at your preferred location. Apart from the professional gadget repair service, the ease of RepairAm’s business model is about the most impressive thing about them. For workers, or anyone who doesn’t have the time to go searching for gadget repairers, RepairAm has made life absolutely easy. You don’t even have to move an inch to get your gadget repaired.
I recently used the RepairAm service to repair my Samsung Galaxy Tab S with a broken screen, and here is a review of their service.
Service Delivery
I placed my order online, and few minutes later, I got a call confirming my order and the fee for it. It is quite normal though, to get a call from customer service when you are shopping online in Nigeria. The unexpected, but very impressive part, was after I booked a pick up. The engineer came to pick up my device very early in the morning, less than 24 hours after booking. He collected the device, fixed it, and delivered it to me the next morning, 24 hours after pick up.
My tablet had a slight crack, barely noticeable, but it had affected the digitizer and that rendered it unusable till I fixed it. Now, I once repaired a broken device, where the screen was fixed, but not the digitizer. Needless to say, the device kept malfunctioning even after repair.
With RepairAm, both the screen and the digitizer were fixed, and my device has been in good working condition since then.
Charges
RepairAm gives you a quote based on the fault with the gadget. Before ordering on RepairAm, I had requested for quotes from other gadget repairers. Theirs turned out to be the cheapest, even cheaper than the flagship Samsung shop I initially visited.
Overall, the service I received from RepairAm was fantastic and professional. Quite unbelievable really. Trusting a virtual stranger with your gadget is no easy feat, and RepairAm proved themselves worthy of that trust.
