Helen comes on the back of Hilda Baci’s achievement of setting a record for the longest ‘cookathon’. Expressing her disbelief and joy, she shared, “This achievement is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I still cannot believe it.” Despite her eight years of experience as a wigmaker, Helen admitted that making the longest hand-made wig was challenging, leaving her feeling exhausted throughout the process. She credited the encouragement from friends and family for keeping her focused, emphasizing that not letting them down was a driving force in accomplishing the feat.

Upon completing the wig, Helen faced the challenge of finding an appropriate location for accurate measurement. Opting for a highway connecting Lagos and Abeokuta on July 7, she laid out the wig to confirm its length. Guinness World Records officially recognized and confirmed the record on a subsequent Tuesday. To share her accomplishment, Helen has showcased the record-setting wig in her office, allowing people to witness her remarkable efforts. Source: BBC
