Hakeem Kae Kazim, Nigerian-born Hollywood actor who has featured in blockbuster movies like Pirates of the Caribbean, 24, Hotel Rwanda, Half of a Yellow Sun and Last flight to Abuja has been appointed as the new global ambassador for Africa 2.0. His new role will allow him participate in the Africa 2.0 global campaigns running across its twenty nine chapter countries.
Kae Kazim said about the role he accepted, “I am truly honored to be associated with Africa 2.0- a pioneering platform for a new generation of African leaders to inspire and create a solid infrastructure- to shape a brighter future for our continent.”
Africa 2.0 was founded in 2010 and is composed of 450+ young African leaders from more than 41 nationalities with a collective vision for Africa. Their members are committed to the development of the continent through effective initiatives. Africa 2.0 is a D-ink Tank (a Think Tank that Does Things) committed to thought leadership through concrete and exemplary actions.
