New Water Supply System Pending For Lagos And Cross River.

From a $77.3 million loan granted to the Federal Government by a French Development Agency on concessionary ground, $43.2 million and $33.83 million has been approved for Water Supply projects to Cross River and Lagos States. This was announced yesterday after the Federal Executive Council Meeting, by the Minister for Information Laraban Maku. The loan is expected to support urban water supply development in these states and enable more households switch back to government water supply than borehole use which is rife in several communities particularly in Lagos.
