MTN Nigeria has partnered with Jumia to provide customers six months free internet, on smartphones purchased from Jumia’s e-store. The partnership will enable online store customers who purchase any internet-enabled phone to receive the free service for the period during the offer.
In a statement released by MTN, it projected that the move will increase online activity and generate purchases via the internet.
Mr. Kola Oyeyemi, General Manager, Consumer Marketing, MTN, noted that “the world has turned to one big digital village and MTN is determined to harness the endless potentials provided by innovative technology and make this available to its Nigerian customers.”
