Mobile Monday Nigeria Gets Lagos Government’s Support

The Lagos State Government is supporting the mission, vision and objectives of Mobile Monday Nigeria, by providing required facilities for its monthly forum. Mobile Monday Nigeria. MoMoNigeria is a community of mobile industry visionaries, developers and influencers in Nigeria fostering cooperation and business development through virtual and live networking events to share ideas, best practices and trends from global markets. The Government has granted Mobile Monday Nigeria the use of its e-learning centre. The state-of-the-art e-learning Centre is located at Odunlami Street, opposite Bookshop House, Central Business District in Lagos Island. The e-learning Centre which was upgraded from the then Lagos City Library is equipped with the modern ICT and digital facilities such as: Electronic Library, Video Conferencing Facility, Reprographic Centre, Exhibition Centre, Conference Hall, Testing Centre and several other technology facilities to benefit students, teachers and the populace. Speaking on the development, Chairperson of Mobile Monday Nigeria, Tomi Davies, said, “The Lagos State Government has shown its commitment to the local technology industry by providing this venue for us, a gesture that will help the ecosystem to grow and compete favourably on the global technology scene.”
