Staff Writer
Africa’s edition of an international innovation and creativity competition, Maker Faire, will be held in Lagos this November. It is the 4th edition in Africa and the first in Nigeria. It has been held in other major cities in Africa, since it was launched in Accra, in August, 2009. The competition is held annually in New York, and it provides the opportunity for innovators of all ages to exhibit their work.
The competition helps people – or Innovators, as in this event – to present solutions to some of the local problems facing Africa or, improvements to everyday stuffs. The event will be held at LTV Blue Roof, located in the compound of Lagos Television, Agindingbi, Ikeja, between November 5 and 6th.
