What Is A Truss
A truss is a framework that consists of rafters, struts, ties, and purlins or battens. When these trusses are made of steel it is known as Light Gauge Steel Trusses (LGST). Its long-life span, flexibility, durability, immunity to extreme weather conditions, wrapping, and shrinkage give it an enormous advantage over timber trusses.

How Light Gauge Steel Trusses are fabricated: The process requires specialized tools, skills, and methods to create desired end products. It involves three major steps: Cutting, Forming, and Assembling.
- Cutting: A variety of cutting tools such as saws, laser cutters, are used to cut the steel into intricate shapes.
- Forming: The desired shapes are achieved by putting together the cut trusses.
- Assembling: This involves connecting the parts together as each part becomes a support to the main structure. It must be assembled according to technical specifications.
