Lagos Fashion and Design Week Starts from Tomorrow!

Nigerian fashion has metamorphosed from being merely cultural to a way of life. A whole new generation of fashion designers, music artistes, fashion creative and fashion’s taste makers have made it desirable to be seen wearing clothes made by Nigerian designers. This influence has gradually seeped out and is being represented on runways around the world. Celebrating and promoting these, the 2012 edition of the Lagos fashion week will hold from tomorrow, Wednesday. Lagos Fashion and Design Week is a premiere fashion event which brings together media, industry, buyers and consumers to view the current collections of designers in the fashion capital of Nigeria, Lagos. The show will feature runway shows featuring new season collections from the best talents in the fashion industry; exhibitions featuring fashion products and accessories, textiles, design elements, photography and art installations; and workshops and master classes that will facilitate knowledge transfer, information exchange and networking opportunities across board.
