Jumia 1st Anniversary E-Commerce Conference and Fashion Cocktail

JUMIA, Nigeria’s number one shopping destination, has announced its 1st anniversary conference on growing e-commerce and its contribution to the nation’s economy. This event will be attended by federal ministers, CEO’s, suppliers, customers, media, and various fashion and lifestyle celebrities. It will hold on Friday, July 12th 2013 in Lagos.
The keynote speech; E-Commerce and Information Communications Technology – An Engine for Job Creation and Economic Growth, will be given by Mrs. Omobola Johnson, Honorable. Minister for Communications Technology.
Recently, JUMIA was highlighted at the 2013 Harvard Business School Africa Business Conference by the Honorable Minister of Finance Mrs. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, as one of the pioneers of economic growth in Nigeria.
On the reason for the conference, Tunde Kehinde and Raphael Afaedor, Co-Managing Director’s JUMIA Nigeria said, “We are proud of the change that JUMIA and its innovative e-commerce model have brought to this region.
