Being a social media person, I have come across so many advertisements online talking about how to make money. I always try to check the substance behind them – to see if they really know what they are talking about – and to see if they will really add any value to me. I am now able to sift between the duplicated info and the sparse info to know where the value really is. Most times, the value is only given in exchange for money.
However, there are some people who will give you the value because they want to see you move from where you are to the next level. Incidentally, I am one of those people who enjoy adding value for the sake of seeing a transformation. How do I mean? Every human being is made by God and has something to add and contribute even if it is just the labour (hard work) of your hands. You might be saying “Oh no, work again?” Yes, you can’t escape it. Life is about work and discovering what you can be when you apply yourself. Money is simply an exchange for the value that you add; the faster you discover what that value is, the closer you are to discovering who you are and attracting wealth your way by that discovery.
How do you make money? You must discover what your value is. Do you have a beautiful face and body? You can model. Do you have a beautiful voice or do you love expressing yourself and making people happy? You can become a singer/actress. Do you like solving problems? You can build a company around the problems that you solve. Do you love teaching people and seeing them discover their potential? You can become a teacher. Do you love seeing businesses succeed? You can build an advertising agency. Do you love giving people information that would help them make informed choices? You can start a newspaper house, an online portal or become a blogger. The important thing is that you know that you can do anything. Find out what you want to do and go for it.
The worst thing that you could ever do to yourself is to make money for no reason or goal. Do not skip this part because you need it. Find out the purpose for which you want to make money and once you do that, no one can stop you. To discover this, read biographies of men and women who created organizations that changed the world and find out why they did it. Your vision (the reason you make money or want to make money) will make your product or service so powerful that nothing can stop it. Money will follow your vision and plan.
