Honeywell Flour Mills Plc. (HFMP) has won this year’s Corporate Awards for Excellence in Human Resources Practice, otherwise known as HR Best Practice Award organised by the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM). The company won this prestigious award at the 47th annual conference of the CIPM held recently in Abuja.
President, CIPM, Mr. Anthony Arabome, while congratulating HFMP on this laudable achievement, said “Honeywell’s emergence as the overall winner is a clear testimony of the integrity and transparency of the evaluation and award process. For an indigenous company like HFMP to beat major players (local and multinational) in sectors like oil and gas, telecoms, financial services, manufacturing, among other, goes a long to show that Honeywell is a well-run company, especially from HR perspective.”
He added that “this award has been given to HFMP in recognition of its invaluable contributions to the development and advancement of the human resources profession in Nigeria. The evaluation process leading to the Awards involved very rigorous assessments and process audit of human resources practice conducted by Accenture.”
