Isaac did not embark on this journey for personal glory; he intended to raise $500,000 to support autistic kids through the Efe Irele Autism Foundation of Nigeria and the Children’s Hospital in DC. Both organisations are reputable for providing care and support to the autism community.
“Isaac embarked on this remarkable journey with the noble goal of not only surpassing the existing record of 110 hours of continuous singing but also making a meaningful difference in the lives of children affected by autism, in hope to raise $500,000 for music therapy for children living with autism. His unwavering dedication to this cause and his belief in the power of music to bring about positive change are truly inspiring,”a statement on his social media page said. However, regarding health concerns, Isaac’s attempt to make history was halted on Thursday, June 6, 2024. He stopped at the 98 hours and 26 minutes mark.
“Although unforeseen health challenges mandated Isaac’s withdrawal at the 98 hours and 26 minutes mark, it was a hard but necessary call for medical professionals to make. His commitment to supporting children with autism and their families remains as strong as ever,”his team said on social media.

“generosity and compassion that fueled this initiative continue to resonate, and Isaac remains determined to further his advocacy efforts and make a lasting impact in the lives of children with autism.”Isaac is a true example of the resilient Nigerian spirit when it comes to impactful initiatives across the globe. He might have been inspired by another Nigerian, Tunde Onakoya, who set a new Guinness World Record for the longest hours of playing chess. Tunde played for 60 hours to raise $1 million to educate children in Africa, especially those without access to quality education.
