GTBank Launches Nigeria’s First Virtual Prepaid MasterCard

Guaranty Trust Bank plc, one of Africa’s leading financial institutions, launches Nigeria’s first Virtual Prepaid MasterCard. The virtual payment solution is easily issued via Internet Banking and it makes payment transactions online fast, easy and secure.

The GTBank virtual card possesses all the necessary features of its physical card and more. It can be used for online transactions made locally and internationally. Customers can use their virtual card to perform online transactions if/when their physical cards is not easily or instantly accessible, maybe due to loss or theft. The virtual card provides a low cost alternative to having physical debit/credit cards. With the virtual card, customers can decide to replace a misplaced physical card or do without it.
