Gionee Communications has launched its flagship smartphone, the GioneeElife E6 in Nigeria. The phone, according to Jack Yung, Manager for its African operations, “is a full High Definition (HD) Smartphone that comes in sleek, elegant and classic design, with long battery life that suits the African market.”
“The smartphone has a unibody design, a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels and pixel density of 441ppi. The phone is 6.18mm thin, and weighs 128 grams. It is powered by a 1.5GHz Mediatek quad-core processor, and has 2G RAM. The internal storage offered by the phone is 32GB. And it comes in Android OS,” Yung explained.
According to the Marketing Manager of Gionee Nigeria, Gabriel Nwabueze, “The Gionee Elife E6 comes with a 13-megapixel auto focus rear camera, which also includes a second generation sensor, along with an LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with a 28mm lens, and both cameras support 1080p video recording. The phone runs on Android 4.2 Operating System, with its own custom Amigo UI layer. The phone is powered by a 2020mAh battery.”
