GE Signs Strategic Partnership Agreement With Dangote Group

The visit, last week, of General Electric’s CEO, Jeff Immelt, to Nigeria, that had him announce an energy investment deal, and a deal with Transcorp, also produced another, on infrastructural development, with Dangote Group. This will have both organizations collaborate on transportation (railway) and energy projects, with joint investment and oversight. The strategic partnership of the organizations will extend the projects of GE in sub-Saharan Africa — to hasten development, and foster growth.
