Enterprise Creative presents its January Freelance Friday This Week
Staff Writer
As a creative professional, the right contracts and copyrights can make you a lot of money, while getting into the wrong agreement could leave you broke. This January, seasoned intellectual property lawyer Seye Lawal will be facilitating the session on Understanding Contracts and Copyrights. He will be educating participants on what a contract is, as well as the obligations created by contract, and how contracts may be enforced.
One of the trickiest aspects of running any creative business is in pricing your work, especially when one considers the subjective nature of the business. In this ever-changing economic climate, there is no exact science when it comes to valuing one’s creative output; rather it is a combination of various factors that decide the eventual price tag that goes on a particular product or service. Come and learn what these factors are, and receive important pointers on Pricing Your Work from Enterprise Creative CEO, Nkiru Asika.
Venue: The British Council, 20 Thompson Drive, Ikoyi Lagos.
Date: 11th January, 2013 (first Friday of the month)
Time: 9am – 1pm
