The Managing Director of Ecobank, Jibril Aku, will step down on December 31, 2015 according to a public announcement by the bank. Aku will be concluding his five-year tenure as managing director, as cited in the statement.
He will occupy a senior role in Ecobank Transnational Incorporated, the bank’s parent company, in early 2016.
Prior to joining Ecobank in 2006, Aku worked with Citibank, Nigeria International Bank and Afribank Nigeria Plc.
