Ebony Life TV launched in Grand Style at the Eko Hotel, Lagos

Ebony Life TV, the brainchild of dynamic African talk show star Mo Abudu, made its debuted on DStv channel 165 at midnight yesterday.
The channel promises to deliver a fresh new energy and perspective to audiences across East, West and Central Africa.
Fusing exclusive African original programming, featuring some of the continent’s biggest names, with relevant international urban movie and series programming, Ebony Life TV will is available to DStv Premium, Compact Plus and Compact viewers.
With the tagline “Live the Ebony Life”, the channel is both inspirational and aspirational, celebrating style and success while simultaneously motivating audiences to dream and dream big.
The launch, held at at the Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos and hosted by music star Darey Art-Alade and TV personality Dolapo Oni, featured celebrities from all walks of life such as Malcolm Stevenson “Steve” Forbes (Editor-in-chief, Forbes Magazine), Governor Liyel Imoke of Cross River state, Genevieve Nnaji, Lynxxx, D’banj, Uche Jombo-R, Kate Henshaw, Rita Dominic, Alex Ekubo, Eku Edewor and Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
Nollywood starlet Beverly Naya and media personality Toke Makinwa hosted the red carpet. while Tiwa Savage, M.I. Abaga, Banky W, Onyeka Onwenu, Ebenezer Obey and Omawumi all performed at the event.
Fashion icon Deola Sagoe unveiled her creative pieces at the event. Models took to the runway in traditional Yoruba attire.
