You may do this with furniture polish. There are a lot of those available in stores. It shouldn’t be difficult to get your hands on them. But what if you don’t want to use regular furniture polish for some reason? How about trying something new—something homemade? This short article takes you through two alternatives, both involving lemons. You may either go with the lemon and olive oil mix, or the lemon and vinegar combination.
Option One: Lemon And Olive Oil
For this, you’ll need one part of lemon juice and two parts of olive oil, as well as a bowl and two pieces of cleaning cloth. Step One: Mix the lemon juice and olive oil in the bowl. Step Two: Apply small amounts of the mixture on your furniture using one cloth.Sign up to the Connect Nigeria daily newsletter
Step Three: Use the second cloth to wipe your furniture clean. Note: The olive oil and lemon juice will separate after a while without use. If you’re going to reuse an existing mixture, be sure to shake it up so that they recombine.
Option Two: Lemon And Vinegar
Here, you’ll need equal quantities of lemon juice and vinegar, a bowl, and two pieces of cloth. Step One: Mix the vinegar and lemon juice in your bowl. Step Two: Apply the mixture on your furniture using one cloth. Step Three: Clean your furniture with the second cloth. In both instances, your furniture will come off shiny and renewed.
