Delegation to Super 7 Milano

From September 24 to 26, 2016, the Delegation to Super 7 Milano will take place at the Fiera Milano City, Padiglioni 14, 15, 16, 20145, Milano, Italy. This is an exhibition for product innovation, lifestyle & fashion, gifts & handicrafts, packaging materials industries etc.

Super 7 Milano

Super is a new project created by Pitti Immagine and Fiera Milano, dedicated to accessories and women’s ready-to-wear clothing. The project aims to promote the culture of innovative products and new outlooks in accessories, bringing together established firms and emerging brands in a totally new presentation. It will promote young Italian designers and welcome foreign talents, as well as stage eye-opening events.

This exhibition is held during the spring/summer edition of the Milan Fashion Week, which runs from September 21 to 27, 2016. Established in 1958, it is part of the global “Big Four Fashion Weeks”, the others being the Paris Fashion Week, London Fashion Week and New York Fashion Week. The Milan Fashion Week will include more than 40 shows during the season, transforming the city into a touristic hub. This will provide a remarkable platform for participants to engage various opportunities and maximise their time in Milan.

City of Milan

Milan is the country’s economic and financial heart. The province of Milan is home to about 45% of businesses in the Lombardy region and more than 8% of all businesses in Italy, including three Fortune 500 companies. Milan is home to a large number of media and advertising agencies. It is also a major world fashion centre (with brands such as Armani, Versace and Valentino). The city is also an important manufacturing centre, especially for the automotive industry. Other important products made in Milan include chemicals, machinery, pharmaceuticals and plastics.

Registration

The registration fee for this event is ₦250,000 per participant.  Participants are to pay for their flight tickets and accommodation after the visas are issued. In addition, participants will pay ₦50,000 for the Schengen visa fee, travel insurance and courier service.  This brings the payment to a total of ₦300,000 per participant.

Refunds

For any applicant that fails to obtain a travel visa for this tour, the registration fee of ₦250,000 will be refunded immediately. The expenses of ₦50,000 are non-refundable.

Visa Processing

Registered participants who require travel visas for this purpose shall be assisted.  Letters of Invitation shall be provided and the visas will be applied for at the VFS Global Office in Lagos. Most applicants will not be interviewed, so the approval is based primarily on the assessment of documentation. The volume and strength of the documents will go a long way in determining the success of the application. Visa applicants are required to provide:

  1. Passport and copies of previous visas
  2. Passport photographs (to be taken at VFS for ₦1,500)
  3. Letter of Introduction (from employer)
  4. Bank statements (for 6 months)
  5. Letter of employment and payslips (if employed)
  6. Incorporation documents (if self-employed)
  7. Tax Clearance Certificate
  8. Proof of Real State (if they have any)
  9. Documents attesting the applicant’s professional status (if applicable)
  10. Marriage Certificate (if married)
