CN BizFair 2020: Meet The Masterclass Facilitators

There’s no better individual to facilitate a business fair than someone who has learned the ropes of his/her profession, knows a thing or two about entrepreneurship and is passionate about youth empowerment.
This year’s virtual edition of the Connect Business Fair will feature several facilitators who embody these qualities. Before the day of the event, it is imperative to recognise these individuals, highlight their accomplishments, and illustrate the value they will be bringing to the fair.
Here are some of them below.
Adetola Salau
A social innovative entrepreneur, global educator, and transformation agent, Adetola Salau is passionate about education and advocates for education reform in Africa. She is currently the Senior Special Assistant on STEM Education to the Honourable Commissioner in Lagos State. She is also an Engineer and the author of more than ten books, one of which is a roadmap for transforming mindsets of African children; “Reengineering minds for innovation.”
Over the years, Salau has built a solid science & Technology record. She has a B. Sc (Hons) in Chemistry from Fordham University, New York, with a medal as the best student in Chemistry, an M.Sc in Chemical Engineering, and another in Engineering Management from Syracuse University in New York.
To expand her horizons in education, Salau is currently studying for a PhD in Curriculum, Instruction, and the Science of Learning from the University at Buffalo, State University of New York. In 2018, she was selected to be a part of the 2018 Spring Cohort of the MIT Innovation and Entrepreneurship Bootcamp at Brisbane, Australia.
Salau is passionate about STEM education and the role it can play in producing innovative and enterprising youths in Africa. She has consulted widely with stakeholders and participated in symposiums and conferences all over the world. It is with this knowledge and expertise that this passionate educationist, Salua, will grace this year’s virtual edition of the Connect Nigeria Business Fair 2020 Vision.

Olumuyiwa OluAiyegbusi
Being a serial entrepreneur and the brain behind a number of popular business ventures in Nigeria and abroad, it stands to reason that Olumuyiwa Oluaiyegbusi will be bringing immense value to the business fair.
Oluaiyegbusi started his career as an engineer, working at Water Purification Associates in Cambridge, Mass, USA. By late 1982, he returned to Nigeria and started his foray into business by prospecting for borehole water.
In 1984, He switched to food processing, launching OluOlu Winery Ltd after engaging in the NYSC. The company metamorphosised into OluOlu Industries in 1986. Within this period, some Nigerian newspapers named him as one of the young African industrialists.
He went on to relaunch his business by forming Yem Yom Ventures UK with his wife on a meagre £1,400, after relocating to the UK in 1987. The company today has grown to become a multimillion-dollar venture in Europe and the USA.
Olu Foods is credited with pioneering and popularising the now popular instant “pounded yam” flour and bottled Palm Wine concepts. The company comprises several subsidiaries including OLU OLU Industries (Nigeria), Upland Flour Mills (Nigeria), Yem Yom Ventures (UK), and United Tastes of Africa Inc. (USA) with supportive operations in countries in South America.

Uwaoma Eizu
Uwaoma Eizu is alead strategist at Hexavia, a fast-growing company that offers professional services in enterprise and corporate planning, brand and business strategy, and human capital development.
He has over a decade of experience working with start-ups and big businesses. Through this time, Eizu has gained proficiency in key areas such as enterprise development, literal prowess, and prolific aura. He has also grown to become an authority in brand, human capital, and business training as well as project consultancy.
Eizu is an expert in his field, having interacted with over 5000 top-level professionals in the last few years. As a social entrepreneur, he is a recipient of the International Ken Saro-Wiwa Award for Literature. He is the founder of Foundation 360 and the Potters Lounge.
He consistently hosts and facilitates master classes on Business, Brand, Strategy and Project Management for executives at Hexavia located in a posh private resort in Ikoyi Lagos. He will grace this year’s edition of Connect Nigeria’s Business Fair 2020, offering fresh insights about the art of branding and creative storytelling.

Tony Lawrence
Tony Lawrence is the Head of programs at Hot FM, Lagos where he oversees all radio production activities and output.
With over 18 years of experience, working in top media houses in the country such as Heavy metal studios, Play Entertainment Ng, Cool FM, WazobiaFm, Nigeria Info, Lawrence has gained expertise as a consultant for media houses.
He is always eager to give back to society by sharing his knowledge, ideas, and resources with others.

Saint-Germain Onwukeme
Saint-Germain Onwukeme is the Co-founder of Dochase Adx having worked in various startups such as Supermart Nigeria, Vuga.FM, CreditMe etc and previously founded Cashdown Nigeria. A Systems engineering alumni of the University of Lagos, he operates as Tech Lead and Chief operating officer in which he generates execution strategies to enable clients to achieve their advertising goals.
