Quality assurance and packaging is one recurrent reason giving by Nigerians for patronising foreign products.
Well, I am quite happy when I see small and medium enterprises that, though they are not quite huge, still ensure the quality of their products without compromising good packaging. I recently came across Nadis Cashew Nuts processed and packaged by Matnad Industries Ltd, located in Aba, Abia State and I must confess, I was quite impressed with the packaging and would like to commend them for a job well done.
In a time when it could be considered a norm for substandard products to compete in markets, it’s refreshing to see a local industry that distinguishes itself. I would want to encourage other producers out there to ensure quality assurance and good packaging as this drives the market your way and helps grow our economy.
Kudos to Matnad Industries Ltd and yes, the cashews were tasty.
