On Saturday, August 8, 2015, the highly awaited reality competition,
Dance With Peter was launched at the Silverbird Galleria, Victoria Island to the excitement of hundreds of fans. Peter Okoye (of star duo, P-Square) and popular dance choreographer, Kaffy were notably present at the event.
Major telecoms operator in Africa and supporter of home-made entertainment, Globacom serves as the contest’s primary sponsor. The organisation is set to give a cash prize of N3 million, a Toyota Rav 4, and a spot in P-Square’s next music video.
The competition will hold for a duration of 13 weeks, commencing with auditions in major urban spots: Lagos, Port Harcourt, Benin and Abuja as well as Accra, Ghana. Six participants will emerge from each zone, with the final battle taking place in Lagos. The show will air on AfricaMagic, AIT, TV3 in Ghana and ORTV in Benin Republic.
