Austria-based glass manufacturer, Lisec Group has revealed plans to enter the Nigerian glass market as it continues its growth strategy in Africa. With its strong presence in Egypt, Kenya and South Africa, it insists for its presence also in Nigeria because apart from it being Africa’s largest economy, it has a key market for its range of products, machineries and technologies as it seeks to offer consumers quality glass they desire
Afam Ike, a representative of the company in Africa while speaking to a group of builders and architects at an introductory seminar in Lagos, brought to their attention that the glass market in Nigeria has great potentials yet it is untapped, stressing that Lisec was set to develop manpower and enterprise culture as a way of building capacity in the local market, saying that the local market will benefit from Lisec’s expertise, technology and innovation.
MD, Lisec Austria, Peter Holzinger said that the company is always developing new technologies in order to meet the challenge of its new evolving industry, stressing that the company understands Africa’s needs.
