The ACT Foundation Grant Cycle is currently receiving applications for its 2025 Grant Cycle. Successful applicants will be asked to submit a full proposal detailing, among other things, a budget for the grants. Candidates that scale through this stage will be invited for an interview; if the foundation is satisfied with them, a grant will be extended to them.

Benefits

Successful applicants will receive grants that will enable them to sustain and scale their impact projects within Africa. These projects will ideally be focused on one of these areas: health, leadership, environment, and entrepreneurship.

Eligibility

This program is open to persons who meet the following criteria:

Registered their social enterprise or non-profit in an African country no less than 24 months ago
Legally registered as a non-profit organization; in the case of social enterprises, only projects that are not-for-profit will be funded
Show a strong governance structure, with details of the board of directors contained in the organization’s documents
Evidence of other sources of funding
Minimum staff strength of 3 full-time or part-time paid persons
