Adesua Etomi Joins Notable People On Wolverhampton University’s Wall Of Fame

Nollywood actress, Adesua Etomi, has just added another one to her long list of accolades. The beautiful actress has been added to the University of Wolverhampton Wall of Fame.

The wall of fame showcases some of the school’s alumni, who have gone on to achieve great things. Etomi joins other distinguished alumni:
Judge Jonathan Gosling, circuit judge of England and Wales
Vernie Bennett, a former member of Eternal, a British R&B group
Jazz singer, Clare Teal, reputed for having signed the biggest recording contract for a British jazz singer.
The actress, who turned 30 in February, attended Corona School in Victoria Island before going on to Queen’s College, both in Lagos. She then moved then moved to the UK, obtaining a diploma with triple distinction in physical theatre, musical theatre and performing art” from City College Coventry. She proceeded to study drama and performance at the University of Wolverhampton in 2006, graduating with first-class honours.
Long time coming
Mrs. Wellington has been acting since her days in Corona School, where she was a member of the drama club at age 7. She starred in her first feature film Knocking On Heaven’s Door in 2014; her other film credits include:

Falling, which earned her the Actress of the Year (Big screen) award at the 2015 ELOY Awards and Best Actress in a Drama (Movie/TV series) at the 2016 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards
The Wedding Party and The Wedding Party 2 which are the highest-grossing Nigerian films ever, with domestic gross of over 453 million and 500 million naira, respectively.
Other notable films in which she appeared include A Soldier’s Story, and a magical fusion cultural film, Ayamma.
Adesua is also the head of media at Greenpeace; an international non-governmental environmental organization with offices in over 39 countries.
Her addition to her alma mater’s wall of fame is in recognition of her various outstanding achievements.
She is married to prolific singer/songwriter and entertainment entrepreneur, Banky Wellington.
