The theme of the premiere was “Red and Fugitive”. Let’s see how many understood the assignment.

She rocked a monochromatic look. She wore a three-piece red ensemble. It comprises a red jacket, a crop top, and pants. The dress was styled by derinfabikunco. Ini’s dress was a custom DFC. She wore red high heels and red sunglasses to complete the look. Her outfit stood out from the rest. Her dress was very comfortable and she looked elegant in it.

He wore a striped red and black Agbada with a black cap and red shoes. Explaining his look on his official Instagram page, he wrote: ‘Baba Alaye fugitive with some Yoruba pepper’.

Nancy’s outfit was a mixture of red and black. She wore a red t-shirt underneath a red paint-stained black jumpsuit with a bandana, a set of handcuffs, and leather boots. Nancy’s overall aesthetic shows the thoughtfulness of the stylist to interpret the theme. One thing was sure, her stylist, Medlinboss, paid attention to details.  Nancy deserves an award for her look.

Sharon makes our jaw drop every time she goes to an event. Her love for fashion is an open secret. She wore a long red corset bodice and a red jacket over a pair of red mesh pants. She carried a pink purse and heels to contrast her red look.  Describing her look, she called herself a ‘sexy fugitive‘.  Our celebrities outdid themselves for this premier because not a single bad look was recorded. Though some rocked the theme more than others, everyone put in a great effort.  As fashion designers, stylists and entrepreneurs, there are two tips we can learn from the premier of Blood Sisters.
  1. Pay attention to details. Listen to your clients’ needs and interpret the style accordingly. For instance, if your client, wants a dress to wear to an event, make sure your design matches the occasion. 
  2. Fitting and Comfort. Comfort is important. From the looks of the premier, we can see that most of the outfits were comfortable. Pay attention to your clients’ comfort when styling or designing them.
