3 Powerful Ways to Rule Your World

“When you rule your world; you don’t need a throne to be a king”. We are wired and commanded to rule our world. As God is, so we are here on earth. Tell yourself  “I am created to take charge and excel wherever I find myself.” To become a ruler of my world; I don’t have to flex my muscles or force people to follow me because that’s what tyrants are known for. A powerful ruler is known by the influence generated wherever he/she goes. Ruling your world is having an effect on a person or people, controlling their behaviour without using force but with your words and value system.   How can you rule your world? 1. The power of influence: Our influence is a reflection of who we are and who we are is a result of the information received over a period of time either by learning, relearning or unlearning. If you must rule, be mindful of the information you expose yourself to; you can’t afford to be careless. The power of influence is in its originality. You can exhibit your power of influence by: “Nobody is above influence, it rubs off on anyone that hangs around because it is like a fragrance”.   2. The price of consistency: It requires sacrifice, uncommon patience and grace. This distinguishes the extraordinary people from the crowd. It pays to be consistent because inconsistency leads to instability. The only way to stop your harvest is to stop sowing. Regardless of the outcome; consistency is everything.   3. The price of revelation: This can only be as a result of what you know within you. Revelation of purpose gives you focus in ruling your community, workplace and school. You have to know that you are the son/daughter of the Most High God and he has placed you on earth to dominate and prosper. Know whose child you are! Know his plans for you. What are you here on earth for? “If you can’t give me in one sentence what you are born to do; you’ve robbed the world of your gift. “Don’t blame anyone if you refuse to rule your world because we all have the ability to influence someone; even babies can cause an effect”.     Photo Credit: drum.co.za     About the Writer: Regina Okafor is a certified Microbiologist, an avid reader and a movie enthusiast.
