7th of February: Vote For a Nominated Business on CN Top 100 Emerging SMEs

With the nomination stage of the Connect Nigeria Top 100 Emerging SMEs over, Nigeria’s number one online Information portal is glad to announce to the general public that voting will begin on the 7th of February and end on the 20th of February, 2020. This is the official date to vote for a nominated business. The Connect Nigeria top 100 Emerging Businesses list is an annual recognition aimed at presenting an unbiased and authentic list of top 100 businesses in Nigeria. Targeted and specially focused on startups and growing businesses in the most populous black nation on earth, the final list will be compiled based on an extensive research of 28 key industries or sectors. For this year’s edition of the Connect Nigeria Top 100 emerging SMEs, the bar has been raised higher as many as not less than one million Nigerians are expected to vote for over 100,000 businesses. Every Nigerian is eligible to vote online for their preferred business and decide which business makes it to the final 100 business list.

Nigerian startups and emerging businesses owned by Nigerian entrepreneurs, and resident in Nigeria are eligible for the Top 100 Businesses Award. It is equally important to note that only small and medium enterprises listed on Connect Nigeria’s online portal are eligible to participate in the voting stage.

This annual recognition initiative is also aimed at encouraging and motivating hardworking Nigerian entrepreneurs amidst the numerous challenges that confront their daily business operations and activities in Nigeria. One of the winners of the previous edition of Connect Nigeria’s top 100 list, Oginni Tolulope (CEO of Transfund), went further to be listed in Forbes 30 Under 30 list, 2019.
