All is set for Nigeria’s first game of the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. The Super Eagles will file out against the Lone Stars of Sierra Leone at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja on Thursday, June 9, 2022, by 5 pm (WAT). New Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro, will be hoping to win the game to start off his competitive campaign with the three-time African champions on a positive note after failing to win his first two games (international friendlies against Mexico and Ecuador) in charge of the team.
