YALDA Hosts “Adopt An Idea” Fundraising Dinner

Youth Alliance for Leadership and Development (YALDA) will be hosting its “Adopt an Idea” Fundraising Gala Dinner at on February 23, 2013 in Lagos, Nigeria. YALDA is an international non-profit organization established in 2004 by African students who once studied at Harvard University. The aim of this event is to increase the capacity of youth in Africa to develop positive leadership skills and espouse a honest work ethic.

At the dinner, eight young innovators identified during the YALDA 2012 International Conference will present their unique ideas those who are truly committed to Africa’s development. It is then up to the notable dignitaries present at the dinner to pick what idea to adopt to ensure that the young vision can be implemented. There will be a detailed proposal furnished upon request (the contacts to reach are placed below) for those who want to find out more about the event and how they can be part of this ground-breaking initiative, which is positively impacting the lives of African youth all over the continent.

Also, Jazz legend Mr. Hugh Masakela would be gracing the event as a distinguished guest performer, and a recipient of the YALDA African Star Champion Award.

There will be four types of tables (sitting  10 people each) available for purchase and, of course,  individual tickets for the event:
