He was mobile in midfield and produced a long range shot which found its own into the stands. Victor Moses, the new dad in town, joined the action in the 70th minute, coming on as a substitute for Eden Hazard. Fernando Torres gave Chelsea the lead after some horrendous defending by the Arsenal back line, who failed to deal with Juan Mata’s free kick. Ivorian striker, Gervinho equalised for the Gunners some minutes before half time. In the second half, Juan Mata’s free kick was helped into the net by Laurent Koscielny. The match finished 2-1 in favour of Chelsea. Shola Ameobi started on the bench and later came on as a substitute in Newcastle United’s entertaining game against Reading at the Madjeski stadium on Saturday afternoon. Everton equalised through Turkish-born English man, Leon Osman before Nikica Jelavic rounded off the scoring with a brace. Peter Osaze Odemwigie served his final match ban on Sunday missing out the Midlands derby between Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion. It was a feisty encounter and the men in blue and white stripes took the lead through Irish striker, Shane Long. England striker, Darren Bent equalised for the host after coming on for Christian Benteke. Nigerian-born, Gabriel Agbonlahor played all 90 minutes for Aston Villa.
