Further, the President of the Nigerian Para-Powerlifting Federation, Ruel Ishaku, has assured Nigerians that athletes that will represent Nigeria at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics will win numerous medals like they are familiar with. Ishaku sounded confident: “As usual, we will go and conquer the world. We are coming back with gold medals and World Records.” The former World Record holder and gold medalist is already in Tokyo and will be looking to give every bit of support to competing athletes.
