The Super Falcons of Nigeria have once again made the nation proud with their recent heroics at the just concluded
2018 Africa Women Cup of Nations in Accra, Ghana!
The Nigerian team had their work cut out for them from the beginning of the tournament, having lost their first game to South Africa. However, the Falcons soon got on their front foot and began crushing their opponents until they made it into the final round of the cup. It was more than mere coincidence that their final opponent was South Africa — the only team that had defeated the Falcons earlier in the competition.
Though the South Africans were strong, the Nigerians were better, and ultimately claimed the 2018 AWCON title.
