Mo Abudu
The ever beautiful Mosunmola Abudu, popularly known as Mo Abudu, is one of Nigeria’s top media personalities and has been referred to as the ‘African Ophrah Winfrey’, as she has been living up to the expectation, always on her A game and winning. Mo is the CEO of EbonylifeTV – an independent fast-growing black African multi-broadcast entertainment network that showcases entertaining and informative programmes portraying Africa at its best, and the TV show host of Moments with Mo, she’s also a humanitarian – founder of the Inspire Africa Foundation, focused on raising funds to implement society-transforming initiatives.

Mo Abudu was born in the United Kingdom, and at the age of 7, her family relocated to Nigeria, Lagos, precisely where she was sent to stay with her grandparents at their cocoa farm in Ondo State. At age 12, after her father’s death, she returned back to the U.K and attended Hammersmith County Secondary School and Ridgeway School in Kent. Mo stayed with her guardian in Tunbridge Wells during that period, and from there, went to West Kent College and Midkent College with a master’s degree in HR Management from the University of Westminster in London. She’s a member of the British Psychological Society and is also qualified in occupational and personal testing. Mo is a visionary and has received several accolades, which include being recognized by Forbes as one of Africa’s Most Succesful Women, the first African woman to own a Pan-Africa TV channel, and has been listed as one of the 25 Most Powerful Women in Global TV by “The Hollywood Reporter” in 2013. She also received the award for Entrepreneur of the Year Award by Women Werk in New York in 2014, and in the same year was honoured with an Honorary Doctorate Degree from Babcock University. Abudu is a bundle of talent that when it comes to fashion, she easily passes for a fashion icon too. She looks flawless on the red carpet slaying in every outfit, 53 never looked so good with a body like hers’, notwithstanding, she has two children.
