Victor Alaofin is the MD/CEO of Emerald Consulting Limited, a management consultancy firm. He is also a mentor and consultant at FATE Foundation. He is a renowned business strategist with an eye-catching resume; for two decades, he has built a profile that has made his advice valuable and frequently sought after by young entrepreneurs and established businesses alike.
Mr Alaofin’s career began at Nestle Nigeria Plc in 1991; two years later, he moved to Andersen Consulting, where he was part of engagements with major international brands operating in various sectors of Nigeria’s economy. He also worked as a strategist and corporate finance consultant at Capital Partners Limited, where he led the enterprise transformation process of at least six major banks. He was appointed CEO of Paymaster Limited in 2005.
Since 2000, Mr Alaofin has been involved with FATE Foundation, where he shares his experience with young aspiring entrepreneurs and communicates his views on strategy, people management, integrity and personal development.
At the ICTEL Expo, Mr Alaofin will be giving out more from his trove of knowledge to participants. The ICTEL Expo is organised by the Lagos State Chamber of Commerce and brings together ICT entrepreneurs and other stakeholders in Nigeria’s technology space to learn about challenges, solutions, processes and possible networking opportunities that exist in the country’s rapidly growing ICT sector.
