In quite a number of cases, youth with talents and creative abilities end up not making any remarkable impact on their environment and the country at large. There seems to be a lot of challenges that make bringing their ideas, vision and skill into the limelight a struggle. This has led to a lot of wasted talents, youths giving up on themselves and their dreams.
In a bid to combat this issue, the UNILAG Record Breakers Summit is being organised. The event seeks to engineer a progressive change in young people, in order to aggravate their self-consciousness to see beyond their present situations and to aim at being record breakers.
Highlights of the event include seminars by prolific figures such as Sen. Ben Murray Bruce; Sen. Oluremi Tinubu; Mr. Dickson Ireigbor, former Special Adviser and Assistant to the Presidency on youth and student matters; Mr. Kunle Kasumu, Presenter Channels TV; Mr. Joseph Bayeiku, COO, Impact Your World; Mr. Stephen Oluwatoyinbo, CEO, Talk Village Nigeria; Mrs. Adefisayo, Founder, SworteTalks; Mr. Adeolu Akinyemi, CEO, Avenue to Wealth; and Bunmi Davies, StandUp Nigeria.
The event will take place at the Education Auditorium (Glass House), University of Lagos on the 25th of August 2016 and is an avenue for students and young professionals to interact with individuals who have broken records in their field and become inspired to become phenomenal.
