Toyota Nigeria Will Provide Vehicles for October 1st Movie Production, ED Says

“Toyota Nigeria Limited (TNL) is glad to partner with Kunle Afolayan, the producer of the forthcoming movie titled October 1st. “We believe that our contribution to the success of the movie would go a long way in promoting the cultural heritage of our beloved country- Nigeria. It was unfortunate that when Nigeria got her independence in October 1st, 1960, no Toyota vehicles were used during the celebration. But now, we want to rewrite the history of this country by providing all the logistics and transportation at the scene of the film,” Kunle Adeojo, the Executive Director of Toyota Nigeria, said when he revealed the support of his organization for the movie. The movie depicts Nigeria circa 1960, and is expected to show the culture and events leading to independence.
