Twitter Appoints Ngozi Iweala To Board Of Directors
Nigeria’s former Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, has achieved a record-breaking success by becoming the first Nigerian to be appointed to Twitter’s Board of Directors. She was appointed alongside Robert Zoellick, the 11th President of the World Bank. The Chief Executive Director of Twitter, Jack Dorsey, tweeted:We’re adding Ngozi (@NOIweala) and Bob (@authorzoellick) to the Twitter board. Welcome! Sadly we’re also saying farewell to our friend Marjorie (@marjscar). She’s been an amazing advocate for journalists everywhere, and pushed us constantly to better inform people. Thank you M.
