Top 5 Female OAPs in Lagos

Whether at home, work or in the middle of rush hour traffic, these lovely ladies keep us company with their engaging and sometimes, hilarious commentaries on all things Naija. Get to know more about bubbling OAPs like Toke Makinwa, Toolz and Tosyn in this post:   1. Toke Makinwa: Toke is a radio personality and controversial relationships vlogger on her show, Toke Moments. She’s also a co-host on Rhythm 93.7 FM’s radio show, The Morning Drive. For a season, she was one of the awesome 3LiveChicks who graced our screens along with her contemporaries, Tosyn Bucknor and Oreka Godis. She joined the Moments with Mo team of hosts in 2014; the cherry on the cake that’s been her career.

  2. Toolz: Born and buttered in the United Kingdom, Ms. Tolu Oniru’s lovely voice and ”naijarised” British accent stand her out as one of Nigerians’ favourites. She’s currently a host on The Midday Show which airs on The Beat 99.9 FM. She’s also the host of The Juice on NdaniTV and X Factor, West Africa. Fun fact: She belongs to the Oniru Family of Lagos.

  4. LOLO1: Omotunde Adebowale David (LOLO1 of Wazobia FM) is certainly one of our funniest airwaves queens with her impressive comedic timing and tell-it-as-it-is-commentaries. She’s also an actress, artiste and runs her very own NGO for women called the Caring Ministry. Her comedy show, Oga Madame has made its way to stages on Lagos and London, and remains a fan favourite.   Photo credit: Blooment   5. Wana Wana: Wana has come a long way from her debut on Inspiration FM 92.3.
