Third Mainland Bridge will be temporarily closed for four days starting from midnight of August 23 to midnight of August 26, 2018 in order to carry out Investigative Maintenance Test on the bridge

The State Government stated in the tweet that the temporary shutdown is to allow experts carry out an Investigative Maintenance test on the bridge. With reactions still trailing the communiqué, commuters have been advised to ply other routes within the days of the exercise.
