  Entries are currently open for the Wole Soyinka Prize for Investigative Reporting. If you are a journalist with investigative works in print, online, audio, or visual media covering the focus areas of the award, you are invited to apply.

Since it was first held in 2005, the award has aided the conduct of investigative journalism in Nigeria in areas ranging from corruption in the public and corporate spheres to human rights abuses. This year’s edition continues in this tradition. The award is open to works in these categories: television, radio, print (newspaper and magazine), photography, online, and editorial cartoons.

Entrants for this award should meet these conditions to be considered for it.

How To Apply

Entrants for the award should submit a synopsis of the story (a maximum of 400 words), along with a picture or portfolio.
