The WIPO Training and Mentoring Program for Women Entrepreneurs

  The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), a specialized agency of the United Nations (UN), is inviting women entrepreneurs from across the world to apply for a place in its Training, Mentoring, and Matchmaking Program. It’s especially interested in entries from entrepreneurs working among indigenous people and local communities.

The WIPO Training, Mentorship, and Matchmaking Program is designed to equip businesses with knowledge of intellectual property—how to relate with and take advantage of it in a contemporary commercial environment. It will begin with a training phase which will be a practical workshop that combines short presentations, group work, and case studies. This will take place from September 18-22, 2023, at the WIPO headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. It will be followed by a mentoring and matchmaking phase slated for 2024.
