The Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) invites academics and researchers at universities across Nigeria to apply for the TETFUND Alliance For Innovative Research (TETFAIR) program. If you are an academic or researcher affiliated with a Nigerian university and you have an innovative solution that’s in its idea or early stage, you should consider applying for this program.
The TETFAIR scheme is sponsored by TETFUND. It lasts for a year and is aimed at helping teams of researchers nurture viable solutions to a market-ready status. Teams accepted into the program will be developing innovations that belong in one of TETFAIR’s focus areas. This initiative will take them through the process of building a valuable venture by combining technology and product development.
TETFAIR is organized with technical support from Makelab, Technion, and the Zell Entrepreneurship Program.
Benefits
Researchers and academics who take part in this program will benefit from it in the following ways:

- Gain access to the INNOV8 Hub in Abuja, which has facilities that support the development of prototypes
- Have the opportunity to present their innovation to potential business partners and investors from within and outside Nigeria
