By its stated objectives, the organization seeks applications from visionary leaders aged between 18 and 60 from the Federal Capital Territory, Nasarawa State, and Kaduna State. Persons selected will join an existing network of change makers who are pushing for policies and legislation that enable positive transformation in key areas of socio-economic life.

About 25 civil society leaders selected to take part in Rise Up’s accelerator will benefit from it in the following ways:- Stand a chance of receiving grants for their organizations
- Be supported to improve their advocacy and become more effective at what they do
- Become a part of a broad network of change makers advocating laws and policies that drive equality in access to economic opportunities

Eligibility
This program is open to persons who meet the following criteria:- Must be a civil society leader aged between 18 and 60 years
- Currently work in the Federal Capital Territory, Kaduna State, or Nasarawa State
- Work with marginalized groups, especially women and girls with disabilities, ethnic or religious minorities, and other socially and economically excluded communities
- Work in an administrative role or have decision-making power at organizations in media, civil society, nonprofit, or government-linked setup
- Legally registered and set up to receive international grants
- Have approval of their organization’s leadership to participate in the accelerator, and be able to take part in in-person training between March 3 and 9, 2024.
