Through its initiative, the Qualcomm Make in Africa Startup Mentorship Initiative, the company intends to spot and help early-stage startups that are utilizing contemporary technologies to solve relevant problems on the continent. It is seeking out ventures that are leveraging processing technology and advanced connectivity to produce promising solutions, including hardware. Qualcomm says that it will help the startups that it selects with business coaching, engineering support that’ll aid their product development processes, and expert advice on ways to protect their intellectual property.

This program will benefit its participants in the following ways:- Access one-to-one mentorship with experts at Qualcomm on a regular basis
- Acquire skills in crucial areas like product management, pitching, and hardware architecture

Eligibility
The Qualcomm Make in Africa program is open to early-stage startups that utilize contemporary connectivity and processing technologies to solve problems in Africa (including startups that produce hardware).Register to attend the CN Business Mixer
The Lead-up To The Program
Applications will remain open until February 28, 2023. Startups that qualify for the program will be shortlisted in March 2023. The program will run from April to November, with the Demo Day (program finale) set for December 2023.
